Ever since I acquired my first camera at the age of 18, I’ve been trying to capture the beauty of the landscapes that surround me. Still photographs are, for me, a way of freezing time and creating instantaneous memories. In my early twenties, I experimented with darkroom development but, for many years, photography remained an occasional pastime.

Three years ago, I decided to give photography another try. Consequently, I’ve been investing more and more time and resources into this long lost hobby. Today, photography has transformed into a passion that fills my days and satisfies my creative spirit.

For the past eight years, I’ve been living in the municipality of Rougemont in the administrative region of la Montérégie located in the south-west part of Québec. I’ve spent my childhood between Lac Beauport, l’Île d’Orléans, Chambly and Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours (Richelieu). The plains of the St-Lawrence Lowlands are my homeland. Its cities, farms, fields, concession roads and Monteregian Hills are landscapes that have surrounded me for the better part of my life. Photography is a way for me to share with you my vision of this beautiful region.
